Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), founded in Yan’an in 1940, is the first university of science and technology founded by the Communist Party of China, and has always been the first batch of universities sponsored by China’s Project 211, Project 985 and the “World-class University Construction Plan”, category A.
BIT currently has 22 postdoctoral mobile stations. The fundamental research on engineering, material science, chemistry, physics, computer, mathematics and social science in BIT is among the top 1% in ESI ranking, and engineering is among the top 1‰.

Qualifications and Conditions
01Have the right political direction and good academic record;
02Have obtained a Ph.D. degree from the world-renowned university within the past 3 years or 2020 graduate able to get a Ph.D. degree successfully;
03No more than 35 years old and in good health.Have strong research potential and be able to conduct research work independently;
04Meet other requirements for the postdoctors of the department and the school.

“TELI Postdoctor” Post
The postdoctor who graduates from the world-class university will get a thorough-training in BIT. The annual pay is RMB 300,000-500,000+.
Excellent Postdoctor Post
A
Team Post
The postdoctor will support the team building of key disciplines, high-level talents and excellent young teachers. The annual pay is RMB 200,000-250,000+.
B
Scientific Research Post
The postdoctor will support the academic team undertaking the national and provincial programs. The annual pay is RMB 140,000-180,000+.
C
Ideological and Political Post
The postdoctor will support the development of ideological and political construction of BIT and serve as the tutor or researcher of the ideological and political education teaching and research. The annual pay is RMB 230,000.
The postdoctor will have a joint-training by BIT and the enterprise postdoctoral workstation to facilitate the industry-university-research cooperation and the commercialization of research findings.
Benefits and Welfare
1.A subsidy of RMB 200,000 per year if selected in the National Postdoctoral Program for Innovative Talents and International Exchange Program Introduction Project. The introduced foreign postdoctors will be given an extra training subsidy of RMB 60,000 per year.
2.Social insurance and housing provident fund.
3.An initial research fund of RMB 50,000-180,000 if selected in the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Grant (Special Project or Regular Project). Award for BIT Excellent Postdoctor.
4.Assistance in applying for permanent Beijing residence (including spouse and children) and solving life issues of family members, such as school or nursery access for children in accordance with state policies. Providing postdoctoral apartments or housing allowance according to school policy. The same benefits and welfare as other faculty members in accordance with school policies.
